The volunteer firemen come running from every direction – The pharmacist (also the fire chief), the owner of the trucking company, the baker, the factory owner Karl Brickmüller riding his new motorcycle and many others.

 The fire department volunteers come from every imaginable profession and every class of society, working together to protect the community!
